ABOUT SCOTT C. LUCAS, CPA, JD
Scott Lucas is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant.
After graduating cum laude from Marquette University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Mr. Lucas worked for the Big Six accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in domestic and international tax groups. Three years later, he returned to Marquette Law School, graduating third in his class magna cum laude. During law school, Mr. Lucas was a member of Law Review and received four highest grade awards for IRS Practice & Procedure, Partnership Taxation, Business Torts and Property Law.
Mr. Lucas is admitted to the Illinois Supreme Court and Wisconsin Supreme Court Bars. He also is admitted nationally to practice before the IRS and the United States Tax Court, as well as the Eastern Federal District Court of Wisconsin. Mr. Lucas has and is available to practice nationally in state and federal courts pro hoc vice (for one case approved by the court).
Mr. Lucas also has testified as a court qualified expert witness in legal and accounting malpractice lawsuits with respect to tax and breach of fiduciary duty issues.
